ABOUT US
The civic association BIM association Slovakia - is a non-profit organization focused on the application of BIM (Building Information Modelling) in a professional practice on the level of all stakeholders in the project and construction process for the whole duration of the life cycle of the construction. The main role of the association is the promotion, popularization and development of the possibilities and the application of this technology within Slovakia.
BIM association Slovakia unites the entities dealing and interested in BIM and its implementation in the construction practice and facility management in Slovakia from the perspective of all participants involved in the construction processes during the whole life cycle. In the construction industry, the Building Information Modeling is applicable universally.
GOALS
The main goal is a systematic support of BIM implementation in Slovakia: we support the generation of conditions for legislative and regulative framework that would support effective work and transparent handling of money mainly in the field of construction.
Promotion of BIM principles and benefits among designers in all project phases and across all fields, but also in other phases of construction and subsequent operation and maintenance - Facility management.
